Professional Accomplishments
Dr. Johnson obtained a Masters Degree in Biology from Wake Forest University, and then taught high school science for two years before attending North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000.
Throughout her veterinary schooling, Dr. Johnson knew she wanted to be an emergency medicine clinician, and won the Excellence in Small Animal Emergency Medicine award as a 4th year veterinary student.
Dr. Johnson completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery in 2005, and has enjoyed working as an Emergency Medicine Clinician at Carolina Veterinary Specialists since that time.
